Traditional Devils Club beads are made in a 5 stage process. Each bead takes approximately 15 minutes to make and is done with multiple tools. Traditionally, Indigenous people would keep devils club stalks near by to ward off any evil spirits or clean the air from bad energy. Many people keep the stalks near the entrance of the front door or in places that they need to clean the air. We use the beads in cars as well to keep us safe and also make jewellery out of them. Saying that, they entire plant is used and has a purpose.
